Where and when can I see you – and how much does it cost?
I see clients in person in Edinburgh’s West End, a five minute walk from Haymarket station and a two minute walk from a tram stop. I work Wednesday to Saturday. During the week I work both daytimes and evenings, and on Saturdays I offer morning appointments. I also offer online sessions during the same hours.
I am only able to offer sessions on a weekly basis, unfortunately I can’t offer fortnightly. I work both for the short term to address a specific issue, or longer term if you feel you want to explore things further and/or deeper. Fees: £60 for an hour. To make sure that we are the right fit for each other, I offer a half price first session.
I have a limited number of concession slots available, (currently full) – please feel free to contact me for details. If you require a concessionary slot, please let me know this in your enquiry message and I will try and advise of the approximate waiting time until one becomes available.

Anti-oppressive practice
I recognise the impact that social attitudes towards gender, sexuality, race, religious expression, neurodivergence, non-monogamy, body size and other marginalised characteristics have upon people seeking counselling, and seek to counter this in my work. I offer you an accepting and non-judgemental space, however you live your life and whatever you bring to the therapy.
I welcome discussions of how these might impact you and appreciate having an open and honest dialogue in the therapeutic space as to how we can minimise this happening during therapy. Whilst I identify as neurotypical, I welcome working with people who identify as neurodivergent and encourage you to use the space in a way that is helpful to you.

Accessibility
My therapy space has natural light, and the room is spacious. It is quiet, faces the back of the building and has a large window with a view of the garden. The room is on the ground floor, but unfortunately isn’t wheelchair accessible as there are a couple of steps up when you enter the building. The bathrooms are located on the lower ground floor, one floor below the room.
I understand that sometimes it can be hard to put things into words. You don’t always have to talk. In person I have art supplies – if you want you can draw, or write things down for me to read. You can also play music softly if that’s a method of communication you find helpful. It’s your space.
Please let me know if you have any accessibility needs. The most important thing for me is that you use the space – in person, or online – in the way that best suits you.
“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, “Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.” I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.”
